Pursuing therapy takes courage
Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or for your child, we can help. Grace is a Registered Play Therapist and has experience providing therapy across the lifespan to children, adolescents and adults.
She believes it takes courage to begin counseling and she is honored to be a part of this process with clients. As a client centered counselor, Grace meets her clients where they are at on their individual journey and works in partnership with them to promote healing and identify meaningful themes. She believes in each person’s innate uniqueness, resilience, and ability to grow and heal. Grace works with children and adults that have experienced trauma, adverse circumstances, anxiety, depression, new life circumstances or change, and those that need a safe space to process their feelings and experiences.
Grace provides parent consultations to help parents continue to support their children. She values the relationship each parent has with their child and the commitment they feel for their children’s well-being. She is honored to form partnerships with parents that help continue the growth and socio-emotional development of their children. She also understands that parenting can be challenging and works to understand parental concerns as well as provide encouragement and feedback throughout the therapeutic process.
Grace went to Texas A&M for her undergraduate degree in psychology and The University of North Texas for her masters in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis on play therapy. She pursues continued education to better serve the families and clients she works with. Her qualifications include being a licensed professional counselor, a registered play therapist, and a national certified counselor. When she is not providing counseling, she enjoys spending time with her family and two lovable but mischievous dogs.
